When things go wrong in the field, it's really useful if your drivers can tell you exactly what has occurred, and hopefully take a photo of the event. Within the CartonCloud transport management system we have a functionality called consignment errors, which allows the drivers in the field to take photos using the mobile app and lodge information on what went wrong. This information can then be automatically sent through to your clients.

Improving Customer Service

This is a great way to improve your company's overall customer service as you can advise your client on what's happening, as well as being able to receive responses back from them on how to proceed. It's a really tightly controlled process, which lets you keep on top of anything that has gone wrong and what steps have been taken to rectify the situation.
This helps operators be more proactive about handling challenges on the fly. Normally most operators wouldn't know of the issue until the driver has returned from their run which usually is too late to do anything, but being notified as the challenge occurs the situation can be remedied quicker, keeping your customers happy.
