What are Charge Options?

Within our transport management system and the rates associated with it there's a whole variety of different ways that you can charge. You can charge based on a drop fee. You can charge based on the number of cartons or the number of pallets. You can have sliding scales. You can also charge based on the total weight or the total cubic. You can even have a cubic multiplier which automatically selects between the two.
Surcharges, minimums, discounts, day of the week and flat charges are all available. For example, if you have a surcharge applied on a Friday and a discount applied on a Monday, all of these can be entirely automated within the transport charging.

Stopping Revenue Leakages

Within our warehouse management system, you can configure automatic rates for things like unloading containers, wrapping pallets or pallet rental.
On the storage side, it's easy to charge for minimums, charge per location, charge based on the total number of an item that's in stock or charge based on weight, volume, or any other measure around products.

When you're picking and packing orders, CartonCloud can automatically calculate any handling charges. For example, if you needed to pick three boxes from a shelf, it can automatically calculate the picking fee times three. If you're doing other things like packing individual bottles and then putting them into a box, you can also have charges configured for individual bottle picks.

Benefits of Using CartonCloud

You can also create your own charges. For example, if you have a charge for something like pallet cleaning, you can define this as an ad hoc charge and then apply rates for this as well. We do also have other automatic rates that can be calculated, such as percentage of invoice value.
