Traceability is Key in Warehousing
Being able to see historic stock levels is really important when you need to get an idea of how your stock has changed over a period of time. In a lot of warehouse management systems, you are not allowed to run stock reports retrospectively. And as a result, reports need to be run daily and then saved to a drive somewhere, so that in case you ever need to compare historic stock levels you can go back and get the original file.
Transparency & Accountability
Within CartonCloud, we've designed the warehouse management system in a way that allows you to actually run a stock report for any point in time in the past. So if you want to find out what stocks you had in the warehouse a year ago, you can go in there, select the date, and run the report. We also allow you to do the same with the stock movement reports, so you can get a balance of a product at any time plus see all the inwards and outwards movements around that date as well.
