We’re so excited to announce CartonCloud API Clients are now available completely self-service. Connect your customers, third party providers and software systems all within the self-service CartonCloud API Client and streamline your warehouse and transport processes today!

In the rapidly evolving and growing world of eCommerce and technology, it has never been more critical to offer your customers a wide range of integration possibilities. Customers are demanding integrations across their entire supply chain, expecting that all systems involved will easily send and receive data to one another. Fortunately, CartonCloud’s open API allows for seamless integrations with a wide range of systems, making your and your customer’s life easier and your workflows simpler.

To keep up with the demand for integrations and to take our existing API functionality to the next level, our latest Product Update focuses on improving the usability and accessibility of our API.

With this release, you will now have the ability to create your own API Clients and thereby grant your customers access to CartonCloud’s API to build their own integrations.

This new feature allows you or your customers the ability to run their own integrations into CartonCloud to help streamline their processes, reduce costs and provide flexibility and control over their data.

For example, your customer may use their own in house manufacturing software and wish to send their orders directly from their system into CartonCloud. By creating an API Client for the customer, they can use the API credentials to send and receive data to and from CartonCloud and their system. Some other common use cases include:

  • Send new transport jobs (Consignments) to CartonCloud.
  • Retrieve stock on hand reports from CartonCloud.
  • Send new outbound and inbound orders to CartonCloud (Purchase and Sale Orders).

Offering your customers the ability to build their own integrations is not only a beneficial selling point but it also reduces manual data entry and administrative tasks you have to complete. This gives you back time and resources for the more important jobs.
