Search for Anything

Finding stuff in a warehouse management system or a transport management systems is critical, and being able to jump immediately to the particular order or the particular delivery job that you want is really, really important.

So one thing we put a lot of effort into within CartonCloud is making searching really easy and really fast. We have a field at the top of the application which just says, "Search for anything!" Within that search field you can look for consignments, sales orders, purchase orders, products, warehouse locations, users, run sheets, invoices. You can literally search for anything up in there, and jump straight to that record.

Customers who have access to the system can also use the same tool, and they can search anything which belongs to them. So your customers can log in, they could type in a reference number, and immediately jump to the sales order and also the associated consignment or delivery job based on that sales order.

So it makes it really fast to obtain the information that you are looking for which is critical as it saves people calling you when they want access to information like, "Has my order been packed yet? Has my job been delivered yet? Or can you send me a POD?" All of that, they can find out themselves really fast, and really easily.
