What are Storage Charges?

In our warehouse management system our storage charges are charges for storing products inside a warehouse. There are a whole lot of different ways that storage charges can be calculated. Most commonly, the number of pallet spaces that the product consumes is used, but you can also charge storage based on things like weight, volume, or simply how many items there are.

Stopping Revenue Leakages

Within CartonCloud you can configure all sorts of different storage charges. You can have different types of charges applied to different products within a single customer's account. For example, you might have one product which is charged based on the total number of pallets that you store, and another product which is based on the total number of items that you store in your warehouse.

Benefits of Using CartonCloud

You can then use this with the automated invoicing tool so that at the end of every billing cycle, it goes through and automatically calculates all of the storage charges for that period, and sends the invoice through to the customer. And all of that is completely automated. You don't need to do any manual rework using spreadsheets.
