From defensible delivery proof workflows to item-level scanning, smarter packing, and flow-preserving order management, these updates reflect what our customers value most: accuracy, visibility, and real business outcomes at scale.

🚚 Defensible Last-Mile Delivery — Visual proof + complete traceability

Deliveries are where promises become reality — and where mistakes become disputes. This quarter, we’ve enhanced how teams can prove what happened in the field with tools that reduce uncertainty and liability.

Feature highlights:

  • 📸 Require Photos on POD — Drivers now must upload a photo with every Proof of Delivery. This creates a consistent, visual record for all deliveries — a major advantage when resolving disputes or verifying conditions on site.
  • 📱 Mobile item-level scanning at delivery — Confirm exactly what was delivered — item by item — right from the driver’s phone.
  • 🕒 Scan History Visibility — A dedicated history tab now shows exactly what was scanned, when, and by whom, giving your team full traceability across the delivery lifecycle.

These features combine to give you defensible delivery records and dramatically reduce admin time spent chasing signatures, photos, and proof when disputes arise.

🛒 Keep orders flowing — no matter stock levels

Inventory volatility is a fact of modern supply chains. To help teams maintain fulfilment velocity even as stock varies, we’ve introduced:

  • 🛍️ Shopify Back-Ordering Support — Orders from Shopify now fully support back-ordering workflows, allowing partial fulfilment and smoother handling when stock is limited.
  • 🔀 Order Splitting for Stock Availability — When only part of an order can ship, CartonCloud can now split the order automatically, shipping in-stock items now and back-ordered items later — cleaning up admin and improving end-customer experience.

Together, these tools help you fulfil more orders, faster, and with less manual intervention required.

⚙️ Smarter Packing + Operational Accuracy

Packing is the bridge between picking and delivery — and this quarter brought refinements to make it both faster and more accurate.

Key pack screen enhancements include:

  • 📦 Transport Product Weight field — Packaging weight is now included automatically in the pack screen, improving carrier calculations and reducing manual adjustments.
  • 📐 Split SOP by Unit of Measure (UOM) — You can now pack by any operational unit (bottles, cartons, etc.), helping teams pack in the way that makes the most sense for your workflows.
  • 🚚 Service Type at Pack — Choose carriers and calculate appropriate rates directly from the pack screen — putting freight decisions exactly where they belong.

These enhancements not only reduce errors, but also protect margins by capturing the right data at the right time — before it becomes a billing or delivery problem.

To make your operations even more tightly integrated:

  • 🛒 Click & Connect storefront integrations are rolling out for Unleashed, Amazon, WooCommerce, eBay, and Walmart — so you can automate order entry from multiple channels.
  • 🚛 Carrier integrations continue to expand — helping you remove reliance on third-party tools for labels, tracking and rate management.

By embedding more connectivity directly within CartonCloud, we’re helping you reduce complexity and focus on growth rather than integrations.
