Signature Overlay

Signature overlay is when you take a signature that's captured on an electronic device, for example through an iPhone or Android app, and then overlay it back on the customer's original invoice.

This can be really useful if you're transitioning from capturing all of your PODs on paper to capturing them electronically, as it means that you can continue to provide your customers with an invoice that is signed as opposed to a completely new document that has a signature on it.

Within our transport management system you can configure this for every different customer - whether or not you want to allow signature overlay, and if so, exactly where and how large to place the signature. We have all sorts of tools there that you can use to say, I want to put this on the second page of the original invoice and I want to put it in the bottom right corner and I want it to be of this size.

Then when those PODs either get emailed to the client or they log into the system and download them, rather than getting a copy of just a standard POD document, they get a copy of their invoice with the signature on it, and all the information about when the delivery took place. This is a fantastic feature to ease your customers into transitioning to a new system by making it easier for them to accept electronic paperwork for the first time.
