What are Stock Reports?
One of the most common requirements of running a 3PL warehouse is simply providing your customers with an accurate stock report. And if you're not using a warehouse management system which provides that data live, or your customers can't access that data live, then this results in them calling you for the information, leading to you potentially having to go in and physically counting.

Within CartonCloud, you can run a stock report and you can also run historical stock reports. You can also run stock movement reports, which provide you with information on how a particular product or item in the warehouse has changed over time in terms of the ins and outs, basically acting like a balance sheet.

Customers can also log into the system and access this information themselves. So rather than them having to call you and ask you, "Hey, can you send me through a copy of my on-hand stock?" You can simply invite them to the system as a user, they then get a username and a password, allowing them log in and run these reports themselves.
They'll be able to run a stock report for the current stock and they can run a stock report from a month ago. Additionally, they can also run stock movement reports to see exactly how their product stock has changed, and why it has changed.
