Hey Guys, Tony here from CartonCloud with Tony's Tips.

I've spoken about addresses a few times in the past and one thing which I've found really useful, for a lot of our clients, is the fact that a driver can leave a comment on an address within the mobile app.

Now, if I was to look here in ... If I was to go Transport, Consignments, I can see that I have a consignment for Bob's Groceries at Browns Plains. If I was to go into this delivery address, what I can actually see on the right hand side is the comments.

Now, you can see here that there is four comments there. Now, where they're being placed from is from the driver's mobile app. So, what I'm actually going to show you is, if we were to look inside the mobile app, and here's an android phone I have running CartonCloud.

You can see down here I have Bob's Groceries at Browns Plains. So if I click into this delivery here, on the right hand side next to the address, there is a little talk symbol. If I hit that little symbol, tap on there, it actually brings up the information which previous drivers have left about this address.

And as you can see on this one, the first comment is, "Please ensure that you go to the second dock and speak to Ralph." The next one is the gate code, 4321. And then there's another comment about going to the door, and then there's a change of gate code, and the driver's put in here, "From the 21st of May." So, from the mobile app, if I was to click in here and write a comment, and everybody knows I always like dictation. Please call Ralph, 0402 999 999. And then we hit post.

So now it's actually uploaded an extra comment to that address. Now, the good thing about this is, that it's not ... People don't go in and have a look at the comments on addresses within the web app. But if I was to go in here and I was to have a look, and down the bottom here it says, "Deliver out of hours via tailgate and leave on the dock. See address comments for new gate code." And it's exactly from there when the driver would actually go in and hit the comments, and he could actually see the new gate code. You know?

Things like that where it might be about phone numbers or it could be about gate codes or it could be about anything. But it's just a really good way for the drivers to communicate with each other and to never be in the dark. If you rock up there and hopefully, you can't get in, hopefully somebody else has put a comment up there before.

Tell your drivers that if they ... Fill this with information. If there is good stuff. Whether it be delivered to this dock, whether it be go round the back, round the corner, whatever it may be. But yeah, just a way we're trying to make it easier for drivers to get the right information.

Anyway. Just another one of Tony's Tips.
