TABLE OF CONTENTS
April has been a landmark month for CartonCloud! Our Carrier Integrations platform has officially started rolling out — with beta customers now connected to 150+ carriers through our direct integrations with Shippit and EasyPost. Alongside that, we've released a set of practical workflow improvements across packing and purchase order management to help your team move faster and bill more accurately every day.
— TL;DR — The short version
- 150+ carrier connections now rolling out — book, label, rate-shop, + track without leaving CartonCloud.
- Add or update tracking details directly from the Pack Screen.
- Fuel levy amounts and percentages now appear as separate columns in charge exports.
- Storage invoice summaries can now display custom product + batch fields.
- Purchase Order custom fields can now be marked internal-only, hidden from customer views.
- Coming soon: Walmart integration, per-item packing slips, adhoc charges on the Pack Screen, item scanning on/off vehicles, + a BI Dashboard revamp.
150+ Carrier Connections — Rollout Begins
The biggest news of the month: our new Carrier Integrations platform has officially started rolling out, with beta customers now connected to over 150 carriers through our direct integrations and our partnerships with Shippit and EasyPost.

For most operators, this means no more juggling separate carrier portals, paying for third-party shipping platforms, or chasing tracking numbers manually. You'll be able to book shipments, generate labels, rate-shop on the Pack Screen, and apply Carrier Selection Rules — all without leaving CartonCloud. We're targeting general availability for all customers over the next two weeks.
If you're in ANZ and want Shippit preconfigured for your account, submit a Shippit account request so we can have things ready to go. Existing Shippit or EasyPost accounts can also be transitioned to the free version.

Add/Edit Tracking Details on the Pack Screen

You can now add or update consignment tracking details directly on the Pack Screen — no more jumping between screens mid-pack to keep tracking info up to date. It's a small workflow change that takes friction out of your day, and it sets the stage perfectly for Carrier Integrations, where tracking will be populated automatically.
Fuel Levy Amounts and Percentages in Charge Exports
When exporting consignment charges, you'll now see fuel levy amounts and the applied fuel percentage broken out as separate columns alongside freight charges. This makes it far easier to validate fuel surcharges externally, confirm fuel costs are being recovered correctly, and reconcile against carrier statements — without any extra setup or custom fields.
Customise Storage Details in Invoice Summaries
The Storage tab on your invoice summaries can now be tailored to show additional fields — including expiry dates, batch or POP custom fields, and product-level details like groups or tags. Particularly useful if you bill by batch or need to surface specific product attributes to customers receiving your invoices.
Configuration is handled by our Support team, so get in touch if you'd like to enable it. (Note: Per Location storage methods only.)
Internal-Only Purchase Order Custom Fields
Need a place to store operational notes or sensitive data on Purchase Orders without exposing it to your customers? You can now mark Purchase Order custom fields as Internal Use Only, hiding them from customer-facing views while keeping them accessible to your team. Search behaviour respects the setting too — internal-only values won't appear in results for non-internal users.
What's Coming Next
A few items flagged in our February round-up have already rolled out this quarter — including Etsy and Cin7 Core integrations, Packing Verification Photos, and the Carrier Integrations launch above. Here's what's still on the way:
- Walmart Self-Managed Integration
Walmart Marketplace joins our growing storefront integration lineup, letting you fulfil Walmart orders directly through CartonCloud with the same self-managed setup experience as Shopify, eBay, Amazon, and WooCommerce.
- Per-Item Packing Slips
Generate individual packing slips for each item as you pack, streamlining the workflow for operations that ship items separately or include packing slips per parcel.
- Adhoc Charges on the Pack Screen
Add ad-hoc charges during packing without leaving the Pack Screen — handy for capturing extra packaging, special handling, or any one-off charges in the moment they happen.
- Item Scanning On/Off Vehicles
Building on last year's release of Item-Level Scanning at Delivery, we're expanding scanning to the full vehicle lifecycle. Verify exactly what's present when manifests arrive and freight is broken down — and confirm everything is correctly loaded before vehicles depart. Full scan history and discrepancy reporting included.
- BI Dashboard Revamp
We're overhauling our BI Dashboard solution and adding the ability to build your own dashboards and reports. This will also include the ability to embed your own reports and dashboards within other CartonCloud pages.
As always, if you want to dig into how any of this works in your operation, the team is here to help.
