Business Intelligence — Build Your Own Dashboards + Explore with AI

We've launched Business Intelligence, replacing our previous BI Dashboard with a far more flexible way to explore your data. Build your own charts and dashboards around the questions your business actually asks — reporting on Consignments, Sale Orders and Purchase Orders to track volumes, performance and trends — or start from a prebuilt dashboard giving you an overview of key activity across your business.

And for the first time, you can ask questions about your data in plain English with Explore with AI, and get an answer back as a chart or table in seconds — no query-writing or report-building experience required.

You'll find it under Reports > Business Intelligence. It's available on some plans, so get in touch with our Service Desk team if you'd like it enabled.

Dock Management is here

Every warehouse with a dock knows the drill: phone calls, guesswork, and nobody quite sure when the next truck is turning up. Dock Management brings every inbound and outbound delivery into a single live schedule, connected to CartonCloud.

• Carriers book their own slots — no more back and forth to lock in a time.
• Your floor sees arrivals in real time — including a live Today Board for a screen in the warehouse.
• Drivers check themselves in — a quick code at the kiosk stamps the arrival, no radio call needed.
• Bookings link straight to CartonCloud — purchase orders, sales orders, and consignments, all in one place.

Scan Load / Unload (Beta)

Following on from Item-Level Scanning, warehouse staff and drivers can now use the CartonCloud mobile app to scan consignments as they come off a vehicle at the depot and as they go onto a vehicle for a delivery run — replacing manual, paper-based vehicle checks with a fast, real-time scanning process. Run Sheet and Manifest statuses update automatically as scanning is completed, with every scan recorded against the consignment's history.

Cost+Margin Billing for Carrier Connections

If you use Carrier Connections to book and rate shipments with connected carriers like AusPost, Shippit or EasyPost, you can now bill customers using Cost+Margin Billing — automatically applying a percentage or fixed markup on top of the carrier's real freight cost, right within your Transport Rates. You can even apply different margins to different fee categories, so a fuel levy might pass straight through while a margin is added to the delivery charge.

SSCC Barcode Scanning in Putaway Mode (Android)

CartonCloud now supports SSCC (GS1-128) barcode scanning directly within Putaway Mode on Android. A single scan of a GS1 barcode automatically captures product code, batch or lot number, expiry date, and quantity — no manual data entry required — and can prompt for a second scan if a required custom field wasn't present in the first.

New Self-Managed Integrations: Wix, Squarespace + TikTok Shop

Our storefront integration lineup keeps growing — this month adding Wix, Squarespace and TikTok Shop alongside Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay, Amazon, Unleashed, Walmart, Cin7 Core, Etsy and Xero. Connect any of these directly to CartonCloud in minutes, with orders automatically flowing through as Outbound or Sale Orders and tracking synced back once dispatched — no support ticket required.

Fuel Levy Charges Now Recorded as Individual Line Items

Fuel levy charges now appear as their own individual charge line, sitting directly underneath the charge they relate to — with no change to how your invoices read. You can also create Fuel Levy charges directly, and they now flow through to Bulk Charges reports and the new Business Intelligence tool for clearer revenue visibility.

Shopify Integration: Order Editing + Upsell App Support

If your customers use order editing or post-purchase upsell apps on Shopify, you can now delay Sale Order creation in CartonCloud until Shopify holds are released — so orders only flow through once shoppers are done adding, swapping or upgrading.

Sale Order Import: Avoid Splitting Backordered Quantities

A new customer setting lets you keep a full SKU line together on the Awaiting Stock order when there isn't enough stock to fulfil the requested quantity — instead of splitting a single product line across two orders.

Mobile App: Record Receival Data for Purchase Orders

If you capture data at receival — temperatures, condition notes and the like — this now works from the mobile app too. Tapping Mark as Received on a Purchase Order prompts for your configured Receival Fields before the status updates, just like on the web.

Coming Soon

Expanded Public API, In-App Chatbot & MCP Server  — We're significantly increasing the number of publicly available API endpoints and what those endpoints can do, giving you and your integration partners far more ways to build on CartonCloud. By the end of this quarter we're also targeting release of both an in-app AI chatbot and an MCP server — so you'll be able to work with your CartonCloud data conversationally, or connect your own AI tools directly.

Directed Putaway  — Currently in development and expected this quarter, Directed Putaway will guide warehouse staff to the optimal location for stock as it's received, taking the guesswork out of putaway and setting up more efficient picking down the line.

Shopify Inventory Sync  — Also in development: two-way inventory syncing for our Self-Managed Shopify Integration, keeping stock levels in Shopify aligned with what's actually available in your warehouse.

GS1/SSCC Scanning in Picking  — Off the back of strong uptake of GS1/SSCC scanning in Putaway Mode, we're now building the same capability for Picking — bringing single-scan product, batch and quantity capture to the pick as well.
