Coming from an operational environment ourselves, we understand that seconds spent waiting for things to load quickly add up into minutes, then hours, then entire salaries.

Application speed is something we monitor continuously. We noticed that as some of our users were starting to pack larger and larger sale orders (sometimes several hundred lines), the time taken to save the data and reload was really adding up.

As a result, we've added a new option called "Rapid Packing" which is enabled by default. By enabling Rapid Packing, the app is adjusted so it only sends the packing confirmation (and then reloads the order), once the entire order is packed.

This dramatically speeds up the app. In an order with just 3 lines, it cuts a huge 30% of out of the time taken to pack.

For those who want the system to save in between each scan, simply open the Settings within the app and disable Rapid Packing.
