We're constantly building features to improve our warehouse management system and transport managements system, a lot of this new functionality is built from our current users providing feedback on what tools will make their lives easier. Below are the major updates from the release. If you want to find out even more information, checkout our release log.

Easier Adhoc Charge Disabling

Until now, newly created Adhoc Charges would appear on all customers by default. This made it really time consuming to create a new Adhoc Charge that only applied to a single customer.

We have now made this easier by allowing users to set whether or not the Adhoc Charge is enabled by default when created. If disabled by default, you can then go into the individual Customer Charge that it should be turned on for, and enable it there only.

Shout-out to Paul Monaco on this suggestion :)

Scanning Serial Numbers vs SSCC

We've had serial number scanning functionality in CartonCloud for some time, which allows you to easily scan in a bunch of serial numbers when picking product to record exactly which items were shipped.

Recently however we received a request from a user to allow them to scan SSCC labels on outgoing.

The difference is that with Serial Number scanning, each item has a unique serial, whereas with SSCC, the whole pallet (all items) are assigned the same serial.

For more information on how to configure this setting, see our knowledge base article.

Thanks to Adrian Bugeja for working with us on this one :)

Bulk Allocation - More Columns

We had a number of requests to add various fields to the list within the Bulk Allocation Screen, so in this release we've added "Pickup Address" and "Delivery Address" along with the standard Address Field (which changes dynamically depending on whether the jobs a pickup or delivery).
We've also made all the Consignment Custom Fields visible too.

Stock Report - Unit of Measure switching

Several clients, especially those in Wine and Liquor distribution, had asked fo the ability to be able to define the Unit Of Measure their stock report is shown in. While they had products stored in Bottles, which would convert to Cartons, and also to Pallets, they were only able to view the stock report figures in either Bottles or scaled to the largest unit of measure possible (ie: 1 PLT + 6 CTN + 3 BTL)

This update makes it possible to specify which conversion level you wish to view the stock report in, making it possible, for example, to specify to show the quantities in CTNs.

For more information on the stock report, checkout our knowledge base.
